How it Works
Falconry-based bird abatement is a highly effective method of managing pest birds due to several key factors
Natural Predator-Prey Relationship
Birds of prey, such as hawks and falcons, are natural predators to many species of pest birds. When used for bird abatement, they create a natural predator-prey relationship that deters pest birds from nesting, roosting, or landing in the area. Pest birds instinctively recognize the presence of a predator and are less likely to return to an area where they perceive a threat.
Versatility and Mobility
Falconers can deploy birds of prey to virtually any location, making falconry-based bird abatement a versatile solution for a wide range of settings, including urban, rural, and industrial areas. Birds of prey can fly and hunt in various environments, including rooftops, open spaces, and even indoor areas, making them highly adaptable to different bird management needs.
Eco-Friendly and Humane
Falconry-based bird abatement is an environmentally friendly and humane method of bird control. It does not rely on harmful chemicals, traps, or other methods that can harm the environment or other non-target species. Falconers prioritize the welfare and safety of both the pest birds and the birds of prey, ensuring that the birds of prey are well-cared for and receive appropriate veterinary care.
Services
BIRD ABATEMENT
We are a team of experienced falconers who provide innovative bird control solutions using trained birds of prey. Our services are environmentally friendly and humane, offering a natural way to deter birds from causing damage or nuisance on your property. With our expertise in falconry based bird abatement techniques, we can help you effectively manage bird populations without resorting to harmful chemicals or noisy devices.
TRAPPING
Trapping nuisance birds is a bit of an art form. Its a three spoked process, when deployed correctly can drastically reduce nuisance bird populations. First, you need the right trap for the job. Second is baiting that trap with local seed, fruit and grain. Third, is trap placement in high trafficked areas, shaded from the midday sun. If you add a trained raptor into the equation, you'll soon see clear skies and clean rooftops.
EDUCATION
As part of our services, we also offer educational programs and awareness campaigns to help promote a better understanding of birds of prey and their role in natural bird control. We believe in fostering positive relationships between humans and birds through education and outreach.
